Great view from the room and the pool. the room was spacious and comfortable with a great sound system. the location was excellent, surrounded by fields and marshes, perfect for nature lovers.
The restaurant food was overpriced and out of touch with the region. the menu was limited.

From the road it does not look very impressive but once inside it is a beautiful location, with excellent staff and very comfortable rooms, infinity pool, superb menus - bliss.

The relaxation within the nature when the weather is good - that is it.When the weather is rather stormy, you must have your book or DVD to spend some time with. The staff is kind and helpful, but their English is limited (only a few people could speak English well). Menu card was only in French. But they serve a perfect wine.
Just the weather was not so good.

We loved staying at this hotel, situated right next to a charming little canal and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. We were excited to explore the area and really appreciated the hotel's convenient location near a fantastic restaurant. The staff were excellent, offering great transportation options and always welcoming us in either English or French. Plus, the cleanliness and hotel facilities were top-notch, with a delicious breakfast offered every morning.
Nothing all excellent.

In some ways its initial external appearance is deceptive and gives little clue to the standard and quality of what is on offer. The rooms are very comfortable, well appointed, and very well maintained, and the view over the lake is special, as is the whole of the pool area. The food is excellent and the service efficient and friendly. There were few guests in early November so we delighted in the peace of the hotel. In no way did service or standards diminish. We extended our 3 day stay to 7 days. We enjoyed a wonderful holiday.

The location was breathtaking, surrounded by nature, a perfect oasis to relax. The pool was a highlight, with views of the nearby lake, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel offered many amenities, including nearby horse riding, a great restaurant, and a beautiful atmosphere. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the location, and the ability to take in the natural beauty surrounding the hotel.
The rooms were comfortable but outdated, and the wifi was a bit slow for our needs. We also encountered some ants in the garden, which was a bit of a downside.

The pool area was beautiful, facing on to the lagoon. The beds were very comfy and the staff friendly and trained.
We felt it did not justify the Relais Chateux Rating it displayed due to the food and wine being good but not worthy of the price. The currency rate cannot be blamed for it all! It would have been nice to have the small touches usually found in a luxury hotel, such as a thermos of iced water etc.

excellent camargue hotel - great views - great food - very friendly and helpful staff
hotel rooms could use some refurbishing - internet access almost non-existent (which is more of a problem of the entire region)

This hotel is a hidden gem, with beautiful views of the marshland and a relaxing outdoor pool area. the staff was incredibly attentive, fulfilling all of our luxurious needs, including arranging nearby horse rides and transporting us to a fantastic dinner. the restaurant had excellent prices and a well-stocked wine list, making for a great dining experience.
Though overall, the air conditioning was adequate, there were times when it was rather weak. the open screen door provided a comfortable alternative to cool off at night.

The restaurant was fine, and the food was excellent with well-priced and stocked wine. the rooms were not large, but the bathroom was good, and the view from the terrace was fantastic. I enjoyed relaxing in the pool area, and the staff was friendly and always available.
Sadly, the air conditioning system in the room was not suitable for the warm weather, and we felt uncomfortable at night.
